Tanjung Benoa Port Landscape

Leica's boss said there was no smartphone is suitable for photography. I was not sure what he meant with his utterance. Probably, his arogancy was the key reason because definitely photography shouldn't be limited only for owners of expensive camera or lens, like the ones Leica usually sells.

Photography is for everybody. No one should ever claims that it is limited to anybody's limit. There should be no border in photography.

Because if photography is limited to expensive and sophisticated gears, then this picture of Tanjung Benoa Port can not be categorized as a photo. The picture was captured by a very cheapest camera inside Samsung Galaxy Tab A6, the low end level smartphone.

Luckily, many dictionaries, printed or online, don't support what Leica's boss said. There is no definition that photography is about capturing moment with "expensive" (or Leica's)  cameras or lens only. The definitionis that photography is an art of capturing moments with a camera (without "expensive" word).

So, the above picture of landscape in Tanjung Benoa Port can be included into the result of photgraphy works, even if it was produced by a very cheap camera.
