Mini Fuel Station on Streets

Mini fuel station is actually not a right term to describe about what you see on the above picture. It is not formally and legally ruled by fuel distribution laws in Indonesia but in reality, there are plenty of such kind of things found on streets.

It is actually just a fuel retailer, an informal one and run by a person, a private. Even though, the name mentioned on the frond of the "station" is PERTAMINA, they are not run by Indonesia Oil Company PERTAMINA. It is just an initiative from a creative mind who wants to attract fuel buyer.

This kind of mini station sells usually only one type of fuel, a "Premium" gasoline for cars or motorbike. The price is also higher compared to the price announced by government or price given by official fuel station.

Usually, the operator or the owner operates on streets where there is no official gas stations nearby. Their targets are more to motorcyclists whose bikes are in low fuel mode.

The fuel quality is OK as usually they gets supplies from official fuel stations.
