On the streets of Indonesia, especially in bigger cities, the appearances of men or women pedalling their bicycles like shown on the above photo are not uncommon. Foreigners may wonder what they do. They bring plenty of sachettes, thermos, plastic glasses and many other things.

Well, let me tell you. Just, wave your hand to stop them and ... you can order a glass of coffee. Of course, it is not Starbuck. Most of the coffee they sell is instant. The sachettes on their bicycle's handlebar contain several common Indonesia instant coffee

They will take a plastic glass, open a sachette you choose, pour hot water from the thermos, stir it and tadaaa... you will have your coffee.


I call them a mobile coffee kiosk. They sell coffee not lifestyle.
