The Indonesia Three Wheeler Sensation, Bajaj

Good Morning My Friends,

Should you have a chance to come to Jakarta, the Capital of Indonesia, I would like to suggest you to experience one thing that may give you unforgettable memory about our country. What I would suggest could provide you quite  a sensation.

It is easy to take as they crawl Jakarta's streets daily from morning to night.

I am not talking about tourism destination or beautiful places. This is about one thing that can be said an icon of the Big Durian. It is Bajaj, a three wheeler that has been serving and transporting Jakarta's people for more than 50 years.

You can find this mean of transportation easily as they are easy to spot in their bright orange and blue.

Why is I proposed you to try a ride in Bajaj ? Because, you will experience a bit part of a real life in the city. Bajaj is not only a public transportation, it represents more than that, a character of people, the fussiness of its street, and also the attitude.

Bajaj is known commonly for its recklessness on roads. Turning without giving a sign, riding against flow, speeding, ignoring traffic signs and many others are done daily. So, you can feel what it looks like to live in Jakarta.

Besides, it will rock you, honestly. The vibration of Bajaj's machine, especially the orange one, can be felt inside passenger compartment. If you travel for 20-30 minutes, the average time to reach one place to another in Jakarta, your body may still shake after you get off the vehicle. You don't need to go to a disco or night club, a Bajaj will shake you at cheaper price.

I am not kidding.

Do not worry to get caught by police officer. It's very seldom, police stops Bajaj. I don't know why but probably they have enough emphaty for them as usually Bajaj's driver comes from lower class. I don't know exactly their reason but it's not too often that a bajaj is arrested for speeding or contra flowing riding.

So, if you have time to visit Jakarta, please be adventurous a bit and feel the sensation of Jakarta's icon, Bajaj. You won't forget the experience.
