Photo : Passengers Waiting For Praying Time

Indonesia is known to be religious country. If you see an Indonesian's ID Card, you will see his or her religion in it.

More than eighty percents Indonesians embrace Islam as their religion. The rest profess one of other 5 recognized religions like Catholic, Protestant, Buddha, Hinduism and also Confusianism.

For moslems, praying is a must. They do it 5 times a day from early morning until night. Each praying session has limited time and moslems are required not to miss any session if they don't want to be a sinner.

Unfortunately, in modern era like now, most of Indonesians must travel a lot to their workplace. Commuting is very common. This happens also on Moslems everyday.

They leave home early in the morning, many actually have already waken up before a roaster is awake and arrive home late at night.

So, how should they still do praying on time when they must earn a living and travel the whole day?

No problem!

When they are at the office, then it is not a problem. Most buildings or offices in Indonesia have a small praying room or called as Musholla.

Even when they have to take a train or other public transportation, there will always be a praying time that can be used whenever a praying time comes.

However, usually since a praying time capacity is limited, they use any space available that can accomodate more people.

Like the above photo, whenever you come to Indonesia, you may see a view similar to this. People sitting on carpets like waiting for something.

Yes, they are waiting for the time to pray. They don't want to miss the session by taking near to praying session time. They prefer to pray first before they jump to a train.

That's one reason of Indonesia to be known as religious country. You can see people worship The God, almost everywhere.
